Jill Clayburgh

Born: April 30, 1944 A wonderful actress died a week ago. Her death was very sudden to me, I didn't even realize she was ill. She struggled with leukemia for 21 years... She appeared on Broadway in the 1960's and 70's and then again in the 2000's. Her film credits include The Wedding Party, The Thief Who Came to Dinner, Gable and Lombard, Silver Streak, Semi-Tough, An Unmarried Woman, Luna, Starting Over, Where are the Children? and Running with Scissors... On television she appeared on "Search for Tomorrow" from 1969 to 1970, "Maude", "The Rockford Files", "Law & Order", "Frasier", "Ally McBeal", "The Practice" and "Nip/Tuck." Her final television role was as matriarch Letitia Darling on the prime time soap opera "Dirty Sexy Money" from 2007 to 2009... Her final film Love and Other Drugs was released after her passing...
