Gloria Swanson (1899) Mary Treen (1907) Richard Denning (1914) David Janssen (1931) At Rest: Milton Berle (2002) Farley Granger (2011) And finally, even though she wasn't a celebrity to television or film audiences, she was a beloved member of my community not to mention a wonderful and dear person.  She left us on this day one year ago.

Several legendary performers left us on this day... At Rest: Lou Costello (1959) -Long time and most beloved funnyman with his partner Bud Abbott William Frawley (1966) -Played the cherished Fred Mertz on "I Love Lucy", was also in over 100 movies and played "Bub" on "My Three Sons" during the final years of his life. Alice Pearce (1966) -Appeared in a few films and also had her own show briefly but will forever be remembered as the original busybody neighbor - Mrs. Gladys Kravitz on "Bewitched" Danny Kaye (1987) -Dancer and long time actor and comedian who had a lengthy career Louis Edmonds (2001) -Best known as the shady Langley Wallingford on the daytime soap opera "All My Children" from the 1970's to the mid-1990's.

Born: March 2, 1917 A television pioneer!  On "I Love Lucy" he was the Cuban bandleader with the crazy English...along with wife, Lucille Ball, he created television production techniques still used today! He passed away on December 2, 1986.  On his 95th birthday... In Memoriam Remembers: Desi Arnaz
