Born: February 11, 1926 This is a memoriam I never thought I would have to write. Believe me it comes with an incredibly heavy heart. The gentleman that will be honored in this post is a legend in the world of comedy. I kid you not when I say that there isn't a day that goes by where he doesn't dip into the cobwebs of my brain... He made his first television appearance in 1950. During that decade he appeared on such shows as "The Philco-Goodyear Television Playhouse", "Suspense", "Goodyear Playhouse", "The Untouchables" and "Alfred Hitchcock Presents." From 1961 to 1962 he co-starred on the series "The New Breed." In 1965 he had regular roles on "Peyton Place" and "Dr. Kildare."
