She is featured here as the candy factory forewoman with Lucille Ball (right) and Vivian Vance (left) in one of the most famous episodes of "I Love Lucy" called "Job Switching" which originally aired on September 15, 1952

Allman worked on radio lending her voice to comedies like "The Abbott and Costello Show", "My Favorite Husband" and "The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show."  Her television credits in addition to "I Love Lucy" include, but are not limited to, "The Beverly Hillbillies", "Petticoat Junction", "Murder, She Wrote", "I Married Joan", "Our Miss Brooks", "Blondie", "December Bride", "The Bob Cummings Show", "The Jack Benny Program", "The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet", "The Lucy Show" and "The Odd Couple."  She was also the voice of Clarabelle Cow in some Disney short films
