Her final recurring role was as Aunt May Parker on the animated Spider-Man series in the mid-1990s'. She had previously voiced Aunt May in the early 1980's version of the show. Her final recorded episode actually aired almost two years after her passing on February 22, 1997. Voice actress Julie Bennett was brought in to voice Aunt May during the show's final seasons.
The actress passed away on October 5, 1995 from brain cancer at the age of 50. That is a tragic and much too early end for such a talented lady.
