Today we celebrate the life and career of an actress who left us much too young...she began in films at age 18, mostly in uncredited roles.  She became a very familiar face on television for the next twenty plus years.

"Racket Squad", "Gang Busters", "Meet Corliss Archer", "Schlitz Playhouse", "The Ford Television Theatre", "Four Star Playhouse", "Cavalcade of America", "Jane Wyman Presents the Fireside Theatre", "The Gale Storm Show: Oh, Susanna!", "December Bride", "Playhouse 90", "The People's Choice", "Climax!", "Perry Mason", "Make Room for Daddy", "Studio 57", "Adventures of Superman", "The Thin Man", "Maverick", "Sea Hunt", "The Jack Benny Program", "Lux Playhouse", "The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour", "I Love Lucy", "Richard Diamond, Private Detective", "G.E. True Theater", "Bat Masterson", "The Untouchables", "The Joey Bishop Show", "The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet", "Petticoat Junction" and "The Mothers-In-Law."

She had a recurring role as Shirley Swanson on "The Bob Cummings Show" from 1955 to 1959 and as Gladys Flatt on "The Beverly Hillbillies" from 1963 to 1968.  Her final acting role was in 1970 on "The Governor & J.J."
