January 20, 1896 - March 9, 1996

17 years have passed since a great legend died at the age of 100.  His career spanned more than 80 years and his most famous comedy partner was his wife Gracie Allen (1895-1964).  After Gracie's passing he reinvented his act, often drawing jokes from his advancing age.
