Another member of Hollywood's early years has left us. As it goes with most of the performers of this era he began in films making his first (uncredited) appearance in 1948's The Boy with Green Hair. Other film appearances include Flamingo Road, Fighting Man of the Plains, Sitting Bull, City of Bad Men and Top of the World.
His television credits include "The Ford Television Theatre","Studio 57", "Climax!", "The 20th Century-Fox Hour", "Undercurrent", "The George Burns Show", "The Hollywood Palace", "The Red Skelton Hour", "Fantasy Island", "The Love Boat", "The Six Million Dollar Man", "Matt Houston", "Dallas", "Murder, She Wrote", "The Steve Allen Plymouth Show", "The Dinah Shore Chevy Show", "The Roy Rogers & Dale Evans Show", "The Match Game", "The Hollywood Squares", "The Bob Hope Show", "The Joey Bishop Show", "The Dean Martin Comedy Hour" and "The New Hollywood Squares."
In 1956 he made an appearance on "Schlitz Playhouse" playing a character named Jim Hardie. Then from 1957 to 1962 he played the same character on "Tales of Wells Fargo." His other long term television roles include the series "Iron Horse" from 1966 to 1968, "Death Valley Days" from 1968 to 1972 and "J.J. Starbuck" from 1987 to 1988. He was a regular cast member during the first season of the hit prime time soap opera "Dynasty" in 1981. His final acting role was a guest appearance on "Harts of the West" in the 1994.
