In 1966 he appeared as the villainous Bookworm in two episodes of the ABC series “Batman.” In 1992 he returned to the Batman universe when he provided the voice of Jervis Tetch, the Mad Hatter on the animated series. He made recurring appearances as the Hatter throughout the series and was present in a few episodes when the show was revived in 1997. He crossed over to an episode of “Superman: The Animated Series” in 1998…
His final role was as Dr. Hugh Trevor in an episode of “Godzilla: The Series.” The episode aired on February 6, 1999 four months after the actor’s death…
