Born: July 17, 1917 She will always be remembered for her bellowing laugh, crazy hair, zany wardrobe and amazing humor.  It is a great tragedy that this lady has left us... Her career began in the late 1950's and it didn't stop until she drew her last breathe only six days ago.  As herself she appeared on many television shows including "You Bet Your Life", "The Jack Paar Tonight Show", "The Jack Paar Program", "The Match Game", "The Art Linkletter Show", "What's My Line?", "Jackie Gleason and his American Scene Magazine", "Bob Hope Presents the Chrysler Theatre", "I've Got a Secret", "The Milton Berle Show", "The Carol Burnett Show", "The Joey Bishop Show", "The Hollywood Palace", "The Ed Sullivan Show", The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson", "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno", "The Hollywood Square

Post # 600 - an extra sad moment....a great man has left us. Born: September 28, 1923 One of my favorite actors of all time... He was on the stage in 1940's and also appeared in some feature films including 1962's To Kill a Mockingbird.  Mostly though audiences will remember him for his MANY MANY appearances on television between 1949 and the early 2000's.  The list includes (but is not limited to): "The Philco-Goodyear Television Playhouse" "Robert Montgomery Presents" "Westinghouse Desilu Playhouse" "Ben Casey" "The Donna Reed Show" "The Lucy Show" "The Twilight Zone" "77 Sunset Strip" "The Fugitive" "Bob Hope Presents the Chrysler Theatre" "Star Trek" "Bonanza" "All in the Family" "Cannon" "Marcus Welby, M.D." "The Waltons" "Columbo" "Ironside" &quo
